CEO - Erik Haugane
Mr. Haugane founded Det norske (previously Pertra) in 2001. He holds a Cand. Real. degree in Exogene Geology from the University of Tromsø.
Haugane has 25 years of experience from the industry and has among others been employed as Ex. Geologist with Esso, Research Scientist with SINTEF, Advisor for the Governor of Sør-Trøndelag. He joined PGS in 1992 before founding Pertra. Haugane was awarded the title “Oilman of the Year” in 2004 by SPE.

Sr. VP Asset Strategy - Odd Ragnar Heum
Mr. Heum holds a M. Sc. Degree in Petroleum Geosciences from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim.
Heum has more than 30 years experience from the Norwegian (and international) oil business, primarily within exploration and business development.

VP Exploration - Bjørn Martinsen
Martinsen is a graduate of the University of Oslo, Geological Institute.
Martinsen started his career in Superior Oil in Stavanger in 1982. He then worked for Norske Hydro and Amerada Hess in Oslo. In Amerada Hess, later Hess, he worked three periods in the UK and a period in Malaysia. He has experience from the Norwegian Continental Shelf, from the UK, Denmark, Arctic regions, Russia, North Africa, West Africa and Southeast Asia.

CFO - Knut M. Evensen
Mr. Evensen holds an MBA in tax and accounting from the Norwegian School of Management (BI), and is also Certified Financial Analyst from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administation (NHH).
Before joining Det norske Evensen has held various positions, including analyst in Pareto Securities and Danske Markets. He also has extensive media experience. Mr. Evensen is acting CFO after the resignation of Teitur Poulsen in May 2012.

Chief Operating Officer - Øyvind Bratsberg
Bratsberg holds a M.Sc. degree in Engineering from NTNU (previously NTH).
Bratsberg has 24 years of experience from the industriy within marketing, business development, and operation. His core competence commercial negotiations and management, and has comprehensive experience from offshore operations and project development. Before joining Det norske Bratsberg was responsible for early-phase field development in Statoil.

Chief of Staff - Anita Utseth
Utseth holds an M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), and an MA in Energy Economics and Environmental Management (1998) from Scuola Superiore di Enrico Mattei.
Previous work experience includes State Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy, several positions with Pertra, The Directorate for Nature Management, and the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD).

Sr. VP Projects - Bård Atle Hovd
Bård Atle Hovd joined Det norske in August 2011. Mr. Hovd is a graduate engineer from NTNU (NTH) and holds an MBA from NHH. He has 24 years experience in operations, project development and project implementation from ConocoPhillips, where he was employed from 1987 to 2011. Before Hovd came to Det norske he was in charge of the project development and the PDO for the Eldfisk II re-development in ConocoPhillips.
