A drop in the ocean
Det norske holds ownership interests in four producing fields, but production is still small. This will change when Jette starts producing. The daily production from Jette will be about 14,000 barrels of oil equivalents per day the first year, of which approximately 10,000 barrels a day will go to Det norske.
In 2011, the overall production of oil and gas totalled about 548,000 barrels. This gave an average production of 1,501 barrels a day, a decrease from the year before, when production amounted to 2,092 barrels a day. We achieved a price of USD 112 per barrel.
Det norske has a five percent share in Varg, 10 percent in Glitne, two percent in Enoch and seven percent in Jotun Unit.
